About 53,863 clients in six regions were still without power starting at 6 a.m. on Monday, November 2, as indicated by the Department of Energy.

The number does exclude those in Catanduanes, where force flexibly was completely cut off due to Super Typhoon Rolly.

Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi said the influenced territories incorporate Cavite, Quezon, Laguna, Rizal, Batangas, Bulacan, and Metro Manila.

Then, Energy Undersecretary Alexander Lopez said 2,776.7 megawatts (MW) were taken out from the Luzon lattice as a few force plants went disconnected.

Lopez said six force plants went on crisis closure "as a possibility measure to stay away from plant harm and abrupt separation to the lattice."

These were the Tiwi Geothermal Power Plant (57 and 60 MW) Bacman Geothermal Power Plant (140 MW), Makban Geothermal Power Plant (221.4 MW), Ilijan Natural Gas-terminated Power Plant (1,200 MW), Santa Rita Power Plant (255.7 MW), and San Lorenzo Power Plant (264.8 MW).
